As Chief Product Officer, Steve leads the company's product development team as they deliver innovative mobile application platform solutions that encourage the widespread adoption of data services. As a key member of the company's executive management team, Roberts brings to Action Engine over 25 years of wireless telecommunications experience. Prior to joining Action Engine, Roberts was founder, President, CEO and Chairman of WatchMark Corporation, the premier provider of service quality management (SQM) systems for the wireless industry. Prior to founding WatchMark Corporation, Steve was vice president of operations and customer service for T-Mobile UK where he was involved in the original PCN license applications that built the T-Mobile network. He has also held leadership positions at US West and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Steve graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and then completed his Master's degree in Computer Information and Control Engineering at the University of Michigan. In 2002, Steve was recognized as a finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Technology division for the Pacific Northwest. |
